1.Delete in the app (fastest)
If you can sign in, this is immediate and self-service:
- Open Voyagera and go to your Profile.
- Scroll to Settings.
- Tap Delete account & data and confirm.
Your account and its data are erased and you're signed out right away. This action is permanent and cannot be undone, so export or note anything you want to keep first.
2.Request deletion by email
If you've removed the app or can't sign in, email us and we'll delete your account for you:
- Email:
- Subject: “Delete my account”
- Send it from the email address tied to your Voyagera account so we can verify the request. We may ask for additional details to confirm your identity before deleting anything.
We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
3.What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes the personal data associated with it, including:
- Your account and sign-in identifiers, name, email, and profile.
- Your solo trips and itineraries — notes, bookings, budgets, saved places — plus your reactions and date-poll responses.
- Your bucket lists you keep to yourself.
- Any trips you published to Explore, and your creator profile if you set one up.
- Your uploaded cover photos, and usage-analytics records keyed to your account.
Content stored only on your device is also removed when you delete your account, or when you uninstall the app.
4.Trips and lists you shared with others
If you shared a trip or bucket list with other people, deleting your account won't erase their copy of it. To keep the group's plans intact:
- Trips and lists you own and shared pass to one of your co-travellers, who becomes the new owner.
- Trips and lists you joined as a guest simply lose you as a member.
- Messages you sent in a shared trip's chat stay in the conversation but are anonymized — your name and identity are removed — so the thread still makes sense for everyone else. Messages in a solo trip are deleted with it.
5.What we may keep
After deletion we may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it, or to prevent fraud and abuse, secure our systems, or resolve disputes. We keep it only as long as needed for those purposes, then delete or anonymize it. We may also keep aggregate, anonymous statistics that can no longer identify you. We do not sell your personal information.
